Robin Scholtysik was born in 1991 in Düsseldorf. After his work experience as a carpenter, he studied at the Academy of Design and in parallel at the master carpenter’s school in Münster. Already during his design studies he developed his passion for furniture and home accessories.

He graduated in 2017 as a designer and master in carpentry. His designs are inspired by the daily life and needs of people. Small observations and human gestures give impulses for his ideas, while his work is also strongly influenced by manufacturing processes and the capability of materials. Robin currently works at a design studio in Münster specialised in interior design.
