The Designer Andreas Kowalewski aims to create contemporary and meaningful product solutions for everyday life. By reducing complexity in form and function and simultaneously challenging the status quo he strives to create objects with personality that center the value of longevity. The Berlin-born designer was initially trained as a carpenter before he began studying industrial design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
