The french Industrial designer was born in 1969 in Paris and lives and works in Copenhagen and New York.
After graduating from Camondo School in Paris in 1997 with honnors with a master in industrial & interior desig, he worked for Pritzker prize winning architect Jean Nouvel from 1997 to 2006 as head of projects. Aurelien Barbry studio was founded in 2007 in Paris and in Copenhagen in 2008.
His work includes many collaborations with well acclaimed international Scandinavian brands in industrial product, furniture and lighting and interior design projects in Hong Kong and Copenhagen.
